Presidency in the United States

Defining and getting a great president.

Selecting Presidential Candidates

with 2 comments

When people start thinking about possible presidential candidates, they look for individuals with similar beliefs.

This is very stupid.  A potential presidential candidate should be intelligent and highly analytical with a focus only on what will be successful.  It does not matter what anyone believes if it will not work.  It is like going out in the pouring rain without a raincoat or umbrella and believing you will not get wet.  Pure idiocy.  But just like citizens/voters.

This is why the nation is in BIG TROUBLE.

It is past time for a change in the method of selecting presidential candidates.  The total focus should be on ability.

Also the current method is wrong/immoral.  By selecting candidates based upon beliefs, it is a battle for one side to control another.  All this does is destroy the nation by turning it into a political battleground.

SO, stop being evil and change how presidential candidates how selected.  The current political parties will never do this as it would be the end of their power and place on the gravy train.

It is up to EACH of YOU.

Form a new political party with candidates selected based upon ability.

The facts no one wants to read.

  1. We need to get the big money out of government and the only way to do that is through publicly funded elections.

    • I agree, including government money. Politicians should have very limited campaign budgets. If candidates were selected based upon ability instead of ideology, then there would be fewer candidates and all factual information could be displayed on simple, low cost websites.
