It Is All About Jobs

leave a comment »

Unemployment is the United States remains high.  It is much higher than the official numbers.  The federal government LIES about the number of unemployed and total omits those under employed(part-time, temporary, lower job level).

If more people had jobs, the nation would be in a much better position economically.  This is true for individuals as well as the nation as a whole.

What has u-bam-a done about unemployment?

Absolutely nothing.

Some would disagree and mention the stimulus packages.  This is stupid.  Stimulus packages have never worked and never will.  All stimulus packages do is provide workfare(welfare disguised as make work jobs).

How can unemployment be reduced?

-Stop listening to politicians and economists; they know nothing.

-Go with the economy, it has a mind of its own; politicians can not control it.

-Make smart choices; not what you want, but what works.

Trouble in America

with 2 comments

Only the blind and the stupid in American do not know that this once great nation is in grave trouble.  It is plainly visible in the rampant political and economic rot.

Most Americans feel trapped, they foresee their children’s fate as even worse off than they are, and they are justifiably angry.

Million of homes are in foreclosure, student loans are impossible to pay, the real unemployment rate is about 20%, prices are rising and then there is the danger of terrorism and harm to the environment.

The Clock Is Ticking for America to
Solve Its Problems

What’s the solution?

Everyone seems to know, but then…

Since both political parties are deeply involved with and beholden to the system, it would seem the answer is a third party independent candidate who not only comprehends the enormous dimension of our problems, but has the intelligence and courage to act to solve them, without regard to political ideology.

The current crop of political demigods running for office(including O-bam-a) do not understand what needs to be done.

Why would any sane and capable person want to be president?  Either the liberal media or the fanatical voter of both sides would pick them to death over ideology trash.

Each disaster(problem constantly reminds us, America does not have that much time left to solve its problems. The need is immediate and acute.

Reignite the American Dream

Too many newsletters, articles, and TV shows seem to be dedicated to the downfall of America (and the American Dream).

It’s time for someone to stand up for the hardworking men and women not just in America, but all over the world, who embody the hope of the American Dream.

Presidential Party Controls Congress

with 2 comments

Citizens/voters think that if they can elect their presidential candidate and gain total control of both houses of congress, everything will be great.  Since this seldom happens, they never get proof that it does not work that way.

Citizens/voters are emotional animals.  To them, it is all about ideology.  They have no intelligence. They are no better than wild animals.

It is past time for them to evolve.  Past time for them and past time for their nation.  Evolve into rational humans.  Rational humans except reality, deal in what works, not in fairy tale land.  This takes maturity.

YOU are one of these citizens/voters.

So, are you going to stay in denial; or are you going evolve for a better you and a better nation?

Presidential Mentality

with 3 comments

When elected, all presidents’ egos inflate to a size totally unimaginable.  They think that now they are president they are great and never wrong; that it is supposed to be their way or the highway.

This ego inflation is bad for the nation and a sign of lack of moral character in the presidents.

The reality is that they are fools elected by the foolish suckers(voters).

Most presidents are very average individuals with the skills of con men; the gift of gab.  They can get elected, but have little ability to run the nation.  They let their inflated egos get in the way and they lack the necessary mental abilities.  After all, they are politicians.

Once elected, the nation is stuck with them for four or eight years.

If they were not politicians, they would probably be in prison.

When is the nation going to start electing competent grown-ups?

IDEOLOGY

with one comment

Politics is America is all about ideology.  Ideology is a political view point.  It is the way that a political party views the world and how it is going to remake the world in that view.

Politicians are like preachers.  They hold services for the faithful.  At the same time they are trying to gain new converts.  They promise anything and everything to gain more members/voters.  Politicians belong to the church of illusion.

In the United States, there are two main ideologies; Republican and Democrat, or red states and blue states.

The goal of each ideology is to gain control of a level of government.  The grand prize is the Presidency of the United States.

It is like winning a sport’s championship.  It really does not mean anything.  It is for bragging rights.

The presidency should be more than this.  It should be about guiding the country through occasional troubles while forging a better nation.

Ideology has no place in the presidency.

The president in the news

leave a comment »

Whenever the president of the United States is in the news or in the media, it is either for public relations, campaigning or whining.

It is never about a significant accomplishment.  There are no significant accomplishments.

It is the president putting his “slant” on something.

It is “look at me, see me, I am great, I did a good thing, I am right, my opponents are wrong”, etc.

The television broadcasting companies interrupt regular programing so the president can have his regular whine.

Everything a president does is in one of two categories;  harmful or worthless.

It is all about getting re-elected or promoting his party.

When are the citizens/voters going to wake up and smell the disaster?

Is the economy getting better?  Is the real jobless rate(currently about 20%) going up or down?  Where is foreign policy going?  Crime, education, etc?

WHY IS THERE NEVER A REALLY GOOD PRESIDENT?

leave a comment »

Why is the above always the case?

The answer is that the electoral process does not work successfully.

The political process is controlled by our two political parties.  Each party is focused on their agenda:

Push their ideology

Get their candidate elected

The political process is not about getting a qualified president.  It is about politics.

Politics is telling the voters what they want to hear so they will vote for you.  Politicians lie.  The voters do not want to hear the truth, they want to hear good news for them.  Example:  If I am elected, gas prices will go to under $1 a gallon. If the voters believe this, they are fools but they will vote for you.

The blame is on both politicians and the voters.

Change the presidential selection process to focus on the most qualified candidate.  A candidate that if elected president will make significant progress in getting the United States back on track.

Politicians will never do this.  Voters will have to act independently of the two political parties.

STATE OF THE UNION

leave a comment »

What is the status of the country today?

The Economy

Permanent loss of jobs, wages declining, inflation is high and rising, especially health care; government debt is increasing as more and more levels of government can not balance their budgets, more government fees and higher taxes.  The economy is shrinking.  And whatever else can go wrong.

Foreign Policy

More and more military involvement for no reason, alienating our allies for no purpose, making enemies throughout the world, just plain doing everything that is wrong and accomplishing nothing.

Summary

A giant catastrophe on the road to the end of the United States.

PROGNOSIS FOR THE FUTURE

The future does not look very bright.  Future presidents will be worse than the previous ones.  For example, Obama did not learn from the Bush administration mistakes;  he got the United States into another military and political boondoggle(Libya).  It is a no win situation; the winner will be anti-American and it ignited increased anti-American sentiment in the Arab world.

And what is the reason for this involvement?  What does Obama think he will accomplish with this boondoggle.

The economy goes through recession after recession; jobs are lost permanently; the national debt continues to increase.  President after president does stimulus packages and bailouts.  The presidents have created an economic house of cards that will one day collapse into financial disaster.

HISTORICAL PERSPECITVE

The United States has had 44 presidents.  The quality of the presidents has ranged from very poor to slightly good, but most of them have been poor; they have just muddled-through.

Why is their performance rated poor?  None of them made significant progress in solving/resolving major problems/issues facing the United States.

Why have these presidents failed so badly?  This is the big question.  The answer is simple.  They were all politicians.  All politicians can do is get elected, feed their egos and look out for themselves.

And the worse of it is that there is no change in sight.
